INFO FOR LOCAL BANDS WHO WANT TO PLAY HERE:

For booking contact Will Sartain at willsartain@yahoo.com.

Thanks!

If you want to play a show here, read the following information completely and when you're done with that, click here to give us the information on your band that we'll need to find a show that will work for you.

The most important thing we can tell you is that you need to HELP PROMOTE YOUR SHOW. We have ZERO 'built-in' crowd, if you don't bring your friends you will likely play to an empty room. Making fliers is nice and can of course help, but when it really comes down to it the best way to get people to come to the show is to tell your friends/family and remind them often.

NO COVER SONGS EVER, EVER, EVER. We don't pay the licensing agencies (ASCAP/BMI/SESAC) because their rates are simply unaffordable for an all-ages club with shallow pockets. All bands must sign a paper stating that they will not play cover songs prior to playing the show.

TIMES: Load in is almost always 6:15 unless otherwise arranged for in advance. Doors typically open at 7 pm and the first band starts at 7:30 unless otherwise noted. Our door person or sound engineer will tell you about your set time and length if we have not already told you that before the show.

EQUIPMENT: The room here is as you probably know, very small. It's usually not necessary to mic anything besides the vocals. If you have a keyboard or something similar that we'll need to run through our PA, we can do that, but plan on bringing your own amps and equipment for all but the vocals if possible. Let us know in advance if you have special sound requirements in advance. willsartain@yahoo.com

PAYMENT: Almost all shows the payout is the same, it's 60% paid to the bands after $200 expenses. If you are opening for a touring band it is most likely that the money arrangements have been made with them, in this case you should assume that they (touring band) will be getting the money, and we will pay you in the form of passes that are good for free shows. If this is a problem you should let us know in advance. If you are playing a show with other local bands it's most likely that the money will be divided amongst all the bands equally.
