NEW LANGUAGE is a new project out of Los Angeles created by Tyler Demorest and Matt Cohen.

The two joined forces with Tony Hajjar of At The Drive-In to produce and play drums on their new project. Intentions of creating an EP, quickly turned into a collection of over 10 songs and the band was born.

"Wake Up" is the first song written and released by NEW LANGUAGE, debuting on Triple J radio by Richard Kingsmill.

It's "a call to action… a plea to snap out of the current haze of cultural monotony we've all come to expect and many have come to embrace."

NEW LANGUAGE made their debut performance to a sold out crowd as direct support to Gone Is Gone (Queens of the Stone Age, Mastodon, At The Drive-In) last April in Los Angeles, CA.

More music to be released over the summer.

"Salt Lake City’s Visitors are hard to pin down. This is definitely not a bad thing. The five songs featured on their recently released Blueshift EP have a cohesive feeling, but within each song the members of the band seem to be following their own path, weaving into and out of each other only to crash into soaring passages anchored by Ian Cooperstein’s dynamic voice. Their sound is indebted to bands who are equally hard to categorize, such as Deftones and Circa Survive, but comparing them to anyone seems like a disservice to the band’s uniquely dreamy yet deep sound."
