Turnover
Turnover
With a sound that's driving and plaintive, contemplative and catchy, Turnover capture the uncertainty of emo-pop greats like the Get Up Kids and Texas Is the Reason. Based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia, the quartet, made up of Casey and Austin Getz, Danny Dempsey, and Eric Soucy, jumped onto the scene in 2011 with a self-titled EP. A split single with Citizen followed the next year before the band would make its full-length debut in early 2013 with Magnolia on Run for Cover Records. Their sophomore release 2015's Peripheral Vision represented a shift in style toward more melodic, dreamy indie rock.
Camp Cope
Camp Cope
Formed in 2015 to add body and beat to Georgia Maq’s solo songs which she has been performing for the past few years, the eight tracks on CAMP COPE’s debut discuss real life working shifts in a hospital, living in rundown share houses in Footscray and what it’s like to be a woman in the world. CAMP COPE’s soulful, indie-punk played under Maq’s raspy and robust voice have made it okay to enjoy feeling angst again.
Summer Salt
Summer Salt
Summer Salt is a surf pop trio from Austin, TX. With influences of bossa nova and 60's rock, they create the perfect soundtrack for chillaxin' by the pool. Their happy vibes will surely appeal to you and your parents. Their latest 7″ EP, Going Native was released on Austin Town Hall Records.
